Nick Olson “Learn to Love Hockey” Scholarship for the MAHL Skill Development Program (learn to skate and learn to play ice hockey).
Our son, Nick, passed away in 2016. His greatest passion was hockey, beginning with “Learn to Skate” at 5 yrs. old. He played house league all through school and continued his passion during college working at an ice arena and playing adult league. He also came back as an assistant coach for his brother and sister’s teams. In his memory, we would like to give a child the chance to try hockey that might not be able to without the scholarship. This need based scholarship will be given to one child a year and will cover the “Learn to Skate” session fees.
