Coaches and Assistant Coaches need to be registered with USA Hockey and the MAHL to coach. Registration is good for one calendar year.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches need to successfully complete the USA Hockey Safe Sport Program training now on an annual basis. There is a background screening through NCSI needs to be completed every two years as well. NOTE-THESE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE CURRENT TO COACH.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches need to successfully pass the Age-Specific Modules and Coaching Education Program (CEP) levels required for the age level they are coaching. Links for Modules and CEP information is on the left side of the linked page.
