A Skills Development orientation meeting will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, January 3 at the Civic Arena. Equipment will be available for pick up before and after the meeting. We will have on ice sessions twice a week; Saturday late morning and Monday evenings.
The first skating session will be January 5 at 11:30 at the Midland Civic Arena.
I am looking forward to having your family as part of the Winter Skills Development program.

The USA Hockey Level 2 coaching clinic recently added and scheduled for Dec 16 in Bad Axe has been canceled. There were no instructors available to conduct the training.
Just Added a Level 2 coaching clinic.!!!! MAHL Coaching Director Steve Witt has announced a Level 1 and Level 2 coaching clinics hosted by USA Hockey and the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association scheduled for December 16, 2018 at the Huron County Expo Center, 170 W. Soper Rd. , Bad Axe, MI 48413.

In effort to serve to improve service to our customers and members, MAHL Concession Manager Robbin Phelps has announced new concession stand hours. Concessions will be open Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Hours may me extended for special events, and are subject to the Midland Civic Arena being open for business.
The MAHL Board of Directors is developing a new, long-term strategy for the league. We are excited to have received a grant to help cover the cost of working with a consultant on this endeavor. As part of the strategic planning process, we are collecting feedback from all of our stakeholders.
Past and present coaches, along with member families, will receive an email from me asking them to take a survey related to the MAHL. Please take a few minutes to provide us with some valuable information on how we can continue to provide the very best programs to our MAHL families. All responses are completely confidential and email addresses are not tracked. Only an aggregate report of all of the responses will be provided to the board.
